Congratulations to those of you who are graduating a senior this year. In the past SoCal has recognized these athletes by awarding them a diamond necklace at a brief ceremony at their State Championships.
Click the link below to fill out a list of questions we need for each graduating senior. You are welcome to ask your athlete to fill out this information for themselves.
SUPER SENIOR ESSAY CONTEST
SCWGCA has established an essay competition intended to reward exceptional individuals with gymnastics expertise in their educational endeavors.
The award will be given on a competitive basis. You are eligible to apply if you are:
* A Southern California resident
* A high school senior
* A competitive artistic gymnast* Planning to attend a college or university in the fall of 2020
A complete SCWGCA Athlete’s Super Senior application includes all of the following:
1. A completed and signed application form
2. A personal essay (no more than two typed pages)
3. Two letters of recommendation (1 from gymnastics coach and/or 1 from HS. teacher or staff, Church volunteer or a community organization)
